I am an investor, not a trader.

I have no formal training and no professional experience in investing.

The vast majority of my investments are managed buy professionals.

I manage a small part of my overall portfolio simply to keep me abreast of "current events."

My time horizon is a rolling-30-year horizon. I will not "see" any of the investments in my lifetime; the entire portfolio will be inherited by our two daughters and, in turn, their five children (total).

I am generally 100% invested.

I do not invest in "bonds" except indirectly, but I personally don't buy and sell or hold bonds.

I do not subscribe to the "life-cycle" theory of investing.

I have a strategic plan for investing which makes investing for me a whole lot more interesting.

I seldom sell once I have bought and established a position, with one exception. I "park" money in shares like "T" and then sell those shares to convert to cash to buy shares in positions I am building.

I have a revenue stream that allows me to allot "new money" to the portfolio on a monthly basis.

I actively trade the first and third wee of each month.

I buy shares regardless of how the market is doing. I have a bucket of companies from which I choose to invest.

My "new-money" allotment.
